Matt Grant It has been almost 1 year since I closed on my home and reflecting back on that anxiety filled time I am eternally grateful to Mike for being more than just my realtor during that time but also a great friend. He introduced me to the mortgage broker that would navigate me through the complexity of home lending and create a sense of calm in an otherwise stressful process, and he showed me a home that had everything I wanted yet wasn't on my radar because of some pictures I saw that didn't really tell the whole story. If he didn't, I likely would still be looking for a house here a full year later, rather than enjoying the process of turning this house into a home. Mike handled everything I needed him to and more, taking the time to explain all of the phases of the process, arranging for quotes on work I may want to have done on the house down the road, ensuring inspections were thorough and the seller was held accountable for agreed upon repairs. He was the voice of reason as a hint of doubt/fear crept in to help me make a well-thought out choice taking into account both the emotional and rational elements of the decision. After closing, he even introduced me to the handyman that would help me do some of the immediate tasks around the house to get it ready for move-in day and has continued to serve as a resource when questions come up throughout this first year of home ownership for me. I can honestly say I wouldn't be where I am and as happy as I am with my home if it weren't for the preparation and experience of Mike, I can't thank him enough.
